KEMENPERIN RI MENETAPKAN TIGA ZONA EKONOMI MINYAK KELAPA SAWIT

[:id]Kementerian RI melakukan kerjasama dengan Malaysia mengenai teknis organisasi Dewan Produsen Minyak Sawit (Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries/CPOP) dan rencana pembentukan palm oil economic zone, untuk mendorong pertumbuhan CPO (Crude Palm Oil). Kesepakatan tersebut dicapai dalam kunjungan kerja selama 2 hari ke Malaysia (30-31 Agustus 2016).

Menteri Perindustrian, Airlangga Hartanto mengatakan, kedua pemerintah serius mendorong pengembangan industri kelapa sawit olahan mampu meningkatkan nilai tambah produk dan ramah lingkungan. Selain itu, Indonesia dan Malaysia sebagai produsen minyak sawit terbesar di dunia.

“Malaysia kita bicara mengenai kelapa sawit. Jadi salah satu untuk mendorong green economic growth dan CPOPC. Jadi kita membentuk organisasi untuk mendorong kemampuan CPO,” lanjut Airlangga Hartanto, Kamis, 1 September 2016.

Salah satu dari isi kesepakatan tersebut adalah menetapkan tiga zona ekonomi minyak kelapa sawit. Pembentukan palm oil economic zone ini akan menjadi proyek pertama kedua negara. Di Indonesia dan Malaysia masing-masing akan dibangun di 3 wilayah. Di Indonesia, yakni di Dumai (Riau), Sei Mangke (Sumatera Utara) dan Kalimantan Timur.

Hal lain yang dibahas dalam kunjungan tersebut mengenai petani sawit, pembinaan petani sawit, dan manajemen stoknya. Kerjasama kedua negara ini misalnya terkait stabilitas harga.

PT.MUTUAGUNG LESTARI[:en]The Minister of Industries in cooperation with Malaysia on Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries/CPOP and a plan to form Palm Oil Economic Zone, to push growth crude palm oil. The agreement was reached during his visit to Malaysia for two days last August 30 and 31.

The Minister, Airlangga Hartanto said that both Governments were seriously pushing developments of palm oil industries to be able to increase their added value and also environmentally friendly as both Indonesia and Malaysia are the biggest palm oil producers in the world.

“Malaysia and we talking about palm oil. One of the other is to push green economic growth and CPOPC. We are forming an organization to push the ability of CPO.” Continued Airlangga Hartanto on Thursday, Sept.1.

One of the agreement point is to establish three economic zones of crude palm oil. The forming of palm oil economic zones is the first project cooperation between both countries. In Indonesia and Malaysia there will be thee zones formed in each country. In Indonesia’s: Dumai in Riau, Sei Mangke in North Sumatra and one in East Kalimantan.

Other subjects discussed during visit were the guidelines for palm oil farmers and their piling stocks and cooperation between both countries in the case of price stability.
