COC – FSC

Increasingly, pressure on forests is increasing due to illegal activities which lead to unsustainable conditions. Sustainable forest management (SFM) certification is an effort to increase awareness of forest managers and buyers to have a high commitment to managing forests sustainably.

MUTU introduced Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) certification since 2005. We provide Forest Management (FM) and Chain of Custody (COC) certification services in collaboration with Soil Association Certification A000525. The complete profile of the Soil Association can be seen in Annex 1 of the Soil Association Forestry Profile (IP-GEN-001-14).
