PT Mutuagung Lestari showed concern for the environment by holding the 2017 Green Action activity on February 20 2017. This Green Action is a form of corporate social responsibility (CSR) that carries an environmental theme. In collaboration with BPDAS Citarum-Ciliwung Bogor, the Foundation, and Al-Farhan Vocational School, Kadudampit Sukabumi Village and involving the surrounding community, the Company planted tree seedlings with the theme “Green Pesantren & Community.” Tree seed planting activities were carried out in the Al Farhan Islamic Boarding School Land and the surrounding community in Cikahuripan Village, Kadudampit District, Cisaat Sukabumi.

It was recorded that 6,000 trees were planted in the Pasirdatar Village area, Kadudampit District, Sukabumi Regency, consisting of 5,000 wood tree seedlings and 1,000 fruit tree seedlings. Through this initiative, PT Mutuagung Lestari also supports the greening movement carried out by the Sukabumi Regency Government, especially in efforts to reduce the amount of critical land in the area. It is hoped that planting tree seedlings will be able to restore greenness to areas that were previously open land and prone to landslides.
